Service Expansion to Employer Brand Consulting
“Our client was an Asian headhunter that wanted to expand their services to employer brand consulting. This type of service is not common in the Asia Pacific region, thus we looked into the market’s potential and evaluated successful cases in other regions. I was in charge of conducting descriptive research through designing a survey to collect first-hand data. In the end, our market insights pointed out that our client should provide a niche service - improving employer branding through revamping executives’ LinkedIn profiles.”

Market Entry to the Greater China of a Skincare Brand
“The client of our CE project was an American skincare brand that is interested in expanding its business into the Greater China market. Therefore, the project entailed in-depth research on China’s cosmetics industry and consumer mindsets to develop a bespoke market-entry strategy. This CE project team consisted of students from both the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and the University of Southern California (USC). Through this project, our consultants were exposed to the meaningful work of analyzing new markets from a commercial, regulatory, and logistical standpoint.”
